	$Text Box: The Seward/Bear Creek Flood Service Board, a service area of the Kenai Peninsula Borough, was created in 2003 to provide flood planning, and mitigation services to the Seward/Bear Creek community. The Board is tasked to determine flood planning needs and to oversee and implement flood hazard control.
