Text Box: The Seward/Bear Creek Flood Service Board, a service area of the Kenai Peninsula Borough, was created in 2003 to provide flood planning, and mitigation services to the Seward/Bear Creek community.  The Board is tasked to determine flood planning needs and to advise and facilitate flood hazard reduction measures.  The Service Area  works in cooperation with the City of Seward and the US Army Corps of Engineers to achieve its goals.   (See Calendar for latest approved Minutes and Agendas)
